《クロスワードVol.2》女性歌手，2人の演技者とコンピュータによるミュージックシアター

題名の℃rossword”は  クロスワードパズルに由来している。クロスワードバズルでは意味的に無関係な言葉か音（おん）のみを接点に並んでいる。

この作品では音（おん）が言葉とは無関係に並べられている。これは第一 に、人間の持つ表現力の中の音（おん）に関するものを音楽的に強調したい がための処置である。それと同時に、聴衆が音（おん）の偶然の連なりに言葉を聴き意味を感じ、そこに詩的世界を見いだすこともある程度意図している。その聴き方・感じ方は多様であり｀言葉はまさしくクロスワードパズルのように意昧的には無関係な単なる羅列として、聴衆の耳には飛び込んで来るであろう。しかし、この偶然に支配された言葉の羅列こそ音楽的な進行と相侯って、イメージの自由な飛翔をもたらしてくれることを期待している のである。

Crossword vol.2 for female voice, 2 performers, and computer

The title derives from crossword puzzle, in which a number of unrelated words overpass one another jointing common phones.

In this piece, phones are arranged independently of words with the primary intention that phonic elements in human expression should be emphasized. Another intention is that the audience should hear a certain word in a contingent range of phones, be conscious of the meaning, and find a poetic world. The words would be taken in as a nonsense collection just like a crossword puzzle. It is, however, the contingent collection that may help the audience to enrich their free imagination conjointly with the musical progression.

《クロスワード第3番》演技者とコンピュータのためのミュージックシアター

この曲Crossword Vol. 3 もCrossword Vol.2と同様の発想で作られている。ただ、対照的なのは言葉（日本語）がテキストとして用いられている点である。

言葉を用いたのは、イメージのより自由な飛翔のための言わばジャンフ台の役目を言葉に託したからである。

Crossword No.3  Music theater for actor and computed MIDI Synthesizer

This piece has the same conception as Crossword Vol.2. The contrast between them is that Crossword Vol.3 has Japanese words for its text.

The words are expected to be a guide to a poetic world.
